Hi Tacit. What a drag. I got a 'D' in chemistry, when I was a student nurse. My other grades got me through but I felt like a failure and carried that feeling through life with me for decades. Now, finally, I'm busting the 'ugly story' that I can't learn certain things. That I just don't have what it takes. I've come to discover that, for me, it really comes down to personal interest and priorities. AND that it is OKAY to care more about some things and less about others. And that what we care about we do well in. We only have so much energy and time. Don't believe those stories you are telling yourself. They are just ideas and not good ones at that! You are not a failure. Your life will no doubt go in interesting places that you can't imagine today. You just failed chemistry. Doesn't make you a bit less talented, worthy or doomed. It might hold you back longer than you had planned. But your chemistry grade IS NOT YOU. You are much more than just a grade. Best of luck to you as you deal with this challenge
